The new moon occurred on October 27 in the sign of Libra, in the nakshatra (lunar mansion) Swati at Libra 10:17. This new moon is aspected by Rahu (North Node of the Moon). It is disposited to Venus in Scorpio which is conjunct Jupiter and Mercury. However Jupiter is soon going into Sagittarius to join Saturn and Ketu (South Node of the Moon). Mercury is starting to retrograde on October 31. It will go direct again on November 20 in Libra. Mars is also exactly aspecting Saturn in Sagittarius.
The nakshatra Swati symbolizes a young shoot that is very independent and bends together with the wind. It does not break and stays alive. The ruling deity is Vayu, the Demigod of wind. There is a scattering of energy like the wind and it is very restless. It is ruled by Rahu and there is intense passion for life.
It may sound like a good month but it is not. There is a brief period of peace and enjoyment when Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury stay in Scorpio. But the constellation in the sky is not stable and the peace is soon broken. Efforts are spent in researching and proceeding on certain world affairs but it is too late. Efforts are spent to further balance the world and local affairs. Communications get misinterpreted by manipulated information and slowly the truth of all the lies are beginning to reveal. There will be violence around.

Relationship is undergoing big changes. If you cannot ride through the storm this year, it can be easily broken. Your spouse is slowly revealing what is bothering him/her. You are relooking at how to reignite your romantic feelings to each other.
Cancer
Your health is going worse and you want to find a second opinion on the diagnosis. Alternative ways like Ayurveda produces a more holistic approach to your healing. You prefer to stay at home and rest and not go out for parties. The rest will do you good.
Leo
It is a month of deep profound thinking and serious writing. You are getting the hang of it and you pen down all that pops up in your mind. Children are at particular risk. Better keep an eye on them for the next coming year.
Virgo
Family and home affairs are at top priorities. Do not ignore them. Any property that you are going to sell now are not going to profit. Your dream house is not available in the market now. Be careful when you are driving. Sometimes it is not your fault but the other driver’s fault.
Libra
Siblings are not behaving themselves and their secrets are slowly revealed. You are focusing on yourself this month but your fortune is not that good. It is going down and you know it. Don’t make drastic changes to your life now.
Scorpio
There might be a mishap with your family. Communications with them are not clear and causes misunderstanding. Your spouse is supportive of you overall. Seek his/her help this month because you are going to need his/her understanding far longer than just this month.
Sagittarius
While you are refocusing on your social events, your life is undergoing even bigger changes and you are caught off guard. You analysed and realized certain causes on why your life has turned out like this for the past year. You start and strive to improve your life now.
Capricorn
There are some miscommunications at work and there is nobody to clear the confusion. Take the initiative if your workload is manageable. There’s more and more hidden enemies around gossiping about you. Just be aware on other peoples’ behaviour.
Aquarius
Social events do not go in your favour. Business trips are possible this month but flights and trips might have sudden unexpected situation like flight delays. You are slowly discovering why your life goals are not attainable. Write down the possible alternative solutions in order to reach your goal.
Pisces
You are pushing your career all the way. Results are not showing and you are facing many obstacles and fluctuations at work. You do have to watch out for your health at the same time while you are pushing for your work.
