This new moon occurred on December 18 and it falls in Sagittarius sign, in the nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Mula at Sagittarius 02:25. This is not a fun time. The new moon is conjunction with Saturn in the early sign of Sagittarius where Saturn is just about to get away from it’s gandanta point. Saturn is weak and the conjunction with the new moon in the destructive mula nakshatra is not helping. Saturn is also right at the galactic center point. This is a heavy month to begin the year with.
Mula nakshatra symbolizes the root and marks the ending of the material pursuits and the beginning of the seeking of spirituality. Indulging in material pursuits will start to hurt you beginning this month. A journey has begun for you to seek who you are deep within. You should not pay too much attention to anything external and unnecessary to you. Attachments to such stuff give you suffering and misfortunes. Be brave to destroy the outdated materials and you shall be protected.
