Steven Avery: Will Steven Avery be released?

Steven Allan Avery is a convicted American who was convicted not once but twice. The first time round, he had been wrongfully convicted in 1985 of sexual assault and attempted murder of Penny Beerntsen. Penny Beerntsen was attacked and sexually assaulted while jogging on a Lake Michigan beach. Although Steven Avery had 16 eyewitnesses, a time-stamped store receipt and he was 40 miles away from the attack scene, the odds were against him and he was still convicted and sentenced to 32 years in jail.

After 18 years in jail in 2002, Wisconsin Innocence Project used a newer technology of DNA testing at that time and it was proven that the collected evidence of a single pubic hair belonged to the prisoner Gregory Allen. Gregory Allen physical appearance resembles a lot like Steven Avery especially the face. Steven was exonerated and released on September 11, 2003 due to a wrongful conviction. Steven filed a lawsuit of $36 million in damages against Manitowoc County for the wrongful conviction and it was settled in February 2006 for $400,000.

2 years later in 2005, a lady named Teresa Halbach disappeared and was murdered. Steven Avery was convicted a second time on November 11, 2005. Only that this time, his nephew Brendan Dassey was also being charged as an accessory to the same murder case in March 2006. Brendan Dassey was arrested on March 1, 2006. This time Steven Avery was being charged with first-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm and being sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole on March 18, 2007. Parents of Steven Avery have been supporting Steven’s post-conviction motions with the support of his lawyer Kathleen Zellner. Will Steven be released to reunite with Mama Avery and Papa Avery, Dolores and Allan while they are still alive?

Steven Avery has not pleaded guilty to both his sentences in 1985 and 2005 and maintained his innocence in both cases. He has been saying that the bloodstains in Photographer Teresa Halbach’s car that was swapped and tested positive for his DNA was planted. Steven’s post-conviction lawyer Kathleen Zellner investigations has led to huge doubts with the testimonies of Bobby Dassey (Brendan Dassey’s brother) and Scott Tadych (Brendan and Bobby Dassey’s stepfather). Bobby and Scott alibied each other but their statements and timelines have not been consistent. There are also many other anomalies in the case.

Steven’s nephew Brendan Dassey is not a bright individual and there was no evidence of any kind found against him. The only thing that kept him in jail is his very own confession which seemed to be coerced by the state police officers. Prosecution and Police Officers that were involved in the case included District Attorney Ken Kratz, Sheriff Tom Kocourek, Tom Fassbender, Mark Wiegert, Andrew Colborn, etc. Brendan Dassey was 16 years old and was sentenced to life in prison with possibility of parole in 2048. Teresa Halbach Disappearance, 2005

Teresa Halbach was a photographer and she met up with Steven Avery on October 31, 2005 supposedly to photograph his sister’s minivan that he wanted to put up for sale on Autotrader.com. Steven also bought an Autotrader magazine on the spot from Teresa.

At around 3pm, Bobby Dassey (Brendan Dassey’s brother) testified that he saw Teresa taking photographs of the car. After that, Scott Tadych (Bobby’s stepfather) and Bobby Dassey passed and saw each other on the road and they were both driving to go hunting. They alibied each other.

The day on her disappearance closing to 3:30pm – 3:40pm, the bus driver who drops Brendan and Bline from school testified that she saw Teresa taking photographs and that Steven Avery was walking back towards his trailer.

To look at Teresa’s chart is a little challenging. As her birth time is not available, her Moon could reside in either Taurus or Gemini sign. If we assume that Teresa is born earlier in the day with a Taurus Ascendant, that puts her Ascendant ruler as Venus in the 12^th house. Her Venus is pretty strong in it’s own nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Bharani. So her Venus ruling her life is being placed strongly in the 12^th house of losses. Her Venus is being aspected by both Jupiter and Rahu but this Jupiter’s aspect in actual fact can bring more harm to her. Jupiter is the most difficult planet for a Taurus Ascendant and rules the 8^th and 11^th house. Jupiter’s aspect together with Rahu bring more difficulties to Teresa’s life. At the date of her disappearance, Teresa was in her Jupiter period (dasha) and her Natal Jupiter gave her a very tough time. Her Natal Jupiter is also hemmed in by heavy malefics of Mars, Rahu, and Saturn.

Another critical feature of her chart is that she has some kind of a Kala Sarpa yoga which intensified everything in her life when all the planets are enclosed within the loop of Rahu and Ketu (North and South nodes of the moon respectively). While it’s not strictly a Kala Sarpa yoga with Jupiter and Saturn barely escaping the loop, they are still conjunct the malefic Rahu and do not really escape the clutch of Rahu. This will serve to intensify Teresa’s Venus in the 12^th house of disappearance.

The day of her disappearance, Mars was just retrograding and conjunct Teresa’s Natal Venus exactly. Mars was strong in its own sign of Aries and rules Teresa’s 12^th house of losses. Not only that, Transit Saturn was also aspecting her Natal Venus as well, afflicted her Venus even further. Transit Saturn was in the 3^rd house of travel and Teresa was driving in her Toyota RAV4. Transit Venus was just transiting into her 8^th house of death and it was having a mutual exchange with Transit Jupiter in the difficult 6^th house as well. Transit Jupiter as her most malefic planet from here is also opposing her Natal Venus at a wider orb. Transit Sun as the physical body also goes to the 6^th house debilitated and was involved in the difficult mutual exchange with Jupiter and Venus.. Both Saturn and Ketu was hemming in her stellium of planets of Natal Jupiter, Rahu, Saturn, and Mars in the 4^th house of end of life. All her moksha houses were activated strongly, particularly Mars that took her life away transiting in her 12^th house exactly conjunct her Natal Venus at Aries 23 degrees.

 

 

 

Steven Avery 1^st Conviction, 1985

A lady Penny Beerntsen was sexually assaulted in 1985 and Steven Avery was charged for the assault and attempted murder. Evidence and alibis were available to cover the entirety of his whereabouts during the day of the assault but a description and accusation of the victim points to Steven Avery. Steven was convicted on December 14, 1985.

Assuming that Steven Avery’s birth date and time are accurate, he is a Libra Ascendant. To account more than half of his life being spent in prison, we would have to look seriously at his 12^th house of prison and other afflictions. Steven has his Natal Moon in the 12^th house and it is strongly situated in it’s own nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Hasta. It is also disposited to a strong Mercury in the 9^th house in it’s own sign of Gemini. This is a strong Moon but it contains strong 12^th house theme of prison.

Saturn is one of the strongest planet for him and he has it strong in the 4^th house. His Natal Saturn is strong in it’s own sign of Capricorn but there are 2 problems. This Saturn is in retrograde and it is conjunct his Natal Ketu (South node of the Moon) exactly. His Natal Saturn and Ketu are also situated in the nakshatra of Shravana which is ruled by the Moon. We have already know that his Moon has the strong prison theme. His Saturn being afflicted also makes him feels like he doesn’t really has a home and is always away from home. His Natal Saturn and Ketu remain closely conjunct in the 4^th house in his destiny chart (navamsha chart) which rules his later life as well. His Natal Rahu is in the 10^th house but it is also disposited to the Moon in the 12^th house as well as the afflicted Saturn in the 4^th house by sign and nakshatra respectively. His Natal Venus rules his life being the Ascendant ruler and it is being aspected closely by a malefic Mars from the difficult 8^th house.

On the day that he was being convicted, he was in his Rahu/Moon period. We know that his Natal Rahu is being disposited to his Natal Moon in the 12^th house of prison so the setup has a strong connotation of a jail term! His period ruler Rahu being disposited to his extremely strong subperiod ruler Moon is a big trigger of the 12^th house of isolation and Steven was taken away from his home and work, and sent to jail.

He had malefic Mars and Ketu transiting into his 1^st house and he had a ton of planets transiting over the 2^nd house. All these planets in the 2^nd house as well as Mars in the Ascendant were all aspecting his Natal Mars in the 8^th house. In particular, his afflicted Natal Saturn and Ketu were activated. Both Saturn and Mars were aspecting his afflicted Natal Saturn and Ketu in the 4^th house of home. Jupiter and Moon were also transiting over his Natal Saturn and Ketu but this Jupiter was debilitated which made the transit even worse for him and resulted him being taken away from his home. His Ascendant ruler Natal Venus in the 11^th house was also aspected by both malefic Saturn and Rahu which brought great obstacles to his life.

From Jaimini Astrology viewpoint, Steven Avery was in his Capricorn/Pisces period. Again, we assume a very accurate birth time here in all aspects of the analysis. His Natal Saturn is the matrikaraka which represents his home and mother for him. So his Natal Saturn has a very strong theme of being separated from his home being in exact conjunction with his Natal Ketu itself. His Natal Sun is the atmakaraka which represents Steven himself, is conjunct his Natal Mercury which is his Gnatikaraka and represents obstacles for him. Both his Natal Sun and Mercury are rashi/sign aspecting his Natal Moon in the 12^th house. Don’t forget all of them are under the control of Mercury being in Gemini and Virgo signs and Mercury represents the difficult Gnatikaraka planet of obstacles. This means Sun + Mercury + Moon = Steven + obstacles + strong prison theme. They are 6 houses away from his Capricorn major period which denotes a difficult major period for him. Steven Avery 1^st Release, 2003

After the DNA of a single pubic hair was being tested positive for another prisoner Gregory Allen who was already in jail, the evidence proved that the sexual assault was not carried out by Steven Avery. Steven was glad that he was released after a long 18 years of prison. He went on to sue Manitowoc County for the wrongful conviction. Steven Avery was first released on September 11, 2003.

Steven was about to enter into a brand new Saturn period in 2004. He was in his Jupiter/Rahu period about to enter a brand new Saturn period. His Natal Jupiter is not badly situated being in a lucky 5^th house and opposed by a benefic Venus. His Natal Jupiter is also situated in the nakshatra of Shatabhishak which is ruled by Rahu itself which is disposited in a strong 10^th house where everybody can see him.

After a long 18 years, the nodes were transiting back to the same place again with Ketu transiting over his Ascendant again. So this makes a Nodal Square again which is the same as he had when he was arrested 18 years ago. When Steven has a Nodal Square like this, Rahu will be aspecting his Natal Venus in the 11^th house. Sun, Mercury and Jupiter were transiting over his 11^th house where his Natal Venus is. Natal Venus is the ruler of his chart and rules his life. Saturn and Mars were also aspecting his Natal Venus from his lucky 9^th house and 5^th house respectively. Venus has just passed over his Natal Venus not too long ago and the Moon also opposed his Natal Venus a day or 2 ago. Ketu was on his Ascendant and the rest of the planets were all touching on his Natal Venus. So there is a tremendous amount of energy being injected into his Natal Venus in the 11^th house of wishes. Everybody can guess that his wish was to be freed. And he was free!

From Jaimini Astrology viewpoint, Steven Avery was in his Gemini/Leo period. Gemini period is a mix period for him containing both the lucky 9^th house ruler as well as difficult Gnatikaraka all by Natal Mercury itself. Leo subperiod contains his Venus that rules his 1^st house and it is 11 houses away from his Mercury which is a rather good placement especially for money, fame and life desires. His Natal Venus was strongly activated by transits as well. The previous period Gemini/Virgo which contains his difficult planets of Mercury, Sun, Moon are actually also causing a powerful conjunction of the Sun (atmakaraka) and Moon (amatyakaraka). In Gemini/Virgo period, his planet of status being the Moon is 10 houses away from his main planet Sun which is a very powerful time for him. 10 houses away represents fame and reputation. In Gemini/Leo period is when Steven got released and gained fame and monetary gains for his wrongful conviction.

In Gemini/Virgo period, Steven was already famous for his possible exoneration before his actual release. In Gemini/Leo period, Steven Avery filed a $36 million lawsuit against Manitowoc County. He became famous for his wrongful conviction and appeared a lot of times in the media with political figures. A bill of recommendations was being made to improve the state’s criminal system that was aimed to decrease the possibility of wrongful convictions. It was called Avery bill but it was renamed after Steven’s second conviction in 2005.

Steven Avery 2^nd Arrest, 2005

Moving on later in 2005, another lady Teresa Halbach was murdered. Charges of rape and murder were upon Steven Avery this time. Did he actually murder Teresa Halbach? Did he get out of jail just to get in again? The murder case complicated his nephew Brendan Dassey who was charged as an accomplice to the crime as stated by the prosecution. Only that there is no evidence against Brendan Dassey except his very own confession which seemed very much like a coercion from the state police. Brendan Dassey was arrested on March 1, 2006 and he thought that he will be free to go home after giving his “imagined” statement of involvement, or so he stated. But he never did go home ever since. Steven Avery was sent back to prison once more with first-degree murder. Steven was once again arrested on November 11, 2005 and then convicted on March 18, 2007. Defense lawyers Dean Strang and Jerry Buting put up a good fight against the state prosecutors. Due to certain reasons, the defense was not allowed to point to another suspect in court except for Brendan Dassey. This limited the capability of the defense especially if the evidence was planted.

On the day that Steven was arrested on November 11, 2005, he was just entering into a new Saturn period which lasts a long 19 years. His Natal Saturn is badly afflicted being conjunct his Natal Ketu exactly. His Natal Saturn was also disposited to the Moon in the 12^th house of prison by nakshatra (lunar mansion) Shravana. Ketu was transiting over his Natal Moon in the 12^th house and Saturn was transiting over his Natal Rahu in the 10^th house, aspecting his troubled Natal Moon in the 12^th house. Mars and Saturn were mutually aspecting each other which brought overwhelming obstacles to him.

By the time that Steven was convicted on March 18, 2007, Ketu has moved over to conjuncted his Natal Venus! Mars was conjuncted his afflicted Natal Saturn and Ketu. Saturn was still conjuncted his Natal Rahu. Mars and Saturn triggered great difficulties to his Natal Saturn and the destiny nodes of Rahu and Ketu. Mars was even aspecting his Natal Venus as well.

The Natal Sun and Mercury conjunction is really not a good theme for Steven’s life as previously mentioned and they reside in the Gemini sign. When he was convicted, his Sun and Mercury in Gemini subperiod was 12 houses away from Cancer major period. This is the prison time for Steven yet again.

Brendan Dassey

Brendan Ray Dassey is Steven Avery’s nephew and he was 17 years old when he was convicted of first-degree murder, mutilation of a corpse, and second-degree sexual assault. There was no physical evidence of any sort and the only thing that put him in prison was his own confession statement. Much of his confession seemed to be coerced by the state police officers’ interrogation. After his conviction, his case was being taken up by Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth. Steven Dassey’s case was being led by lawyers Steven Drizin and Laura Nirider. He has repeatedly said that his confession was made up of his imaginations and ideas, thinking that the police were going to let him go home after they finished recording his statement. He has never seen Steven Avery carry out the stated crimes in his confession.

In December 2017, Brendan Dassey’s case was not granted a new trial during an en banc Seventh Circuit ruling where the judges decisions were divided 3-4 against Brendan’s favour. Chief Judge Diane Wood was among the 3 judges who wrote in dissent on the results of the 7th circuit ruling, where Brendan Dassey is denied a writ of habeas corpus for a fair new trial and his constitutional rights was said to be violated.

Assuming that Brendan’s birth date and time are accurate, he is a Gemini Ascendant. Mercury as the ruler of his chart lies strongly in the 4^th house in it’s own sign of Virgo, but it is conjunct a very malefic Mars, aspected by Rahu from a difficult 8^th house, and it is also aspected by Saturn as well. The Sun being debilitated in the 5^th house shows that he indeed is not a very bright kid and has a lower IQ than a normal person. The Sun also disposits to his Natal Venus in the 6^th house which makes him even more mentally handicapped with Venus in a difficult house hemmed in by 2 malefic planets. However with the Sun being vargottama makes him capable of dealing with his self-esteem and lower mental capability issues as he grow older. Bobby Dassey

Bobby Dassey is the brother of Brendan Dassey and he was the star witness for the prosecution of Steven Avery’s case. His statement was one of those that has not been consistent alongside with Kathleen Zellner investigations, and it also contradicted with Steven Avery’s statement. The computer that Bobby used contain disturbing pornographic content including pictures of violent pornography and tortured women. Therefore Bobby Dassey meets the standards for being a Denny suspect, alongside with other Denny suspects including Teresa Halbach’s ex-boyfriend Ryan Hillegas.

Without Bobby’s birth time, we take a look at his moon chart which depicts an Aries Ascendant. The ruler of his chart is the exalted Mars in the 10^th house. Mars is in a parivartana yoga with Saturn in the 8^th house of sex and death. Mars and Saturn exchange signs. This makes his Mars a very dark planet for him. His Natal Mars not only aspects his Natal Moon on the Ascendant, it also aspects his 5^th house of mind. His Mars is being afflicted by a difficult Ketu from the 6^th house and a difficult Saturn from the 8^th house. Mars itself then carries the dark sensual themes to his Natal Moon both by aspect and disposition through nakshatra Shravana. This aspect of Mars to his Moon is exact. This is a dark and afflicted Mars. His dark Mars and Saturn as well as Jupiter are all aspecting Teresa Halbach’s stellium of planets in Leo sign, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter and Saturn.

On another angle, it seems like Bobby does have a hard life. His Natal Ketu and Saturn are hemming in his 7^th house. His Natal Saturn and Mars are hemming in his 9^th house. His Natal Mars and Rahu are hemming in his 11^th house. Besides these 3 houses, all the natal planets of Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are all afflicted by the malefic planets hemming in as well.

In 2023 April, Mercury will retrograde right on her Natal Mercury in the 9^th house where Mercury is her main monetary planet in her chart. Will Steven Avery ever get out of jail?

When will Steven Avery be released?

On June 9, 2023, Steven’s long Saturn period would be over and a new beautiful Mercury period starts for him. His Natal Mercury resides in the 9th house of fortune strong in it’s own sign of Gemini, and it is even blessed by an aspect from Jupiter. With this, the long suffering of Saturn period will end as the tide is turning to his favour now. Mercury is also conjunct Rahu in the 10^th house in his destiny chart (navamsha chart). His Natal Mercury is being hemmed in by malefic Rahu and Mars though, which will provide hindrance to his luck and path. This is one of the factors that can stop him from getting out of prison.

All these analysis is taking in a few assumptions that his birth time and thus his birth chart are accurate. That there is no further probing into his life after year 2023 because his Mercury period will have just started in 2023 and will last until at least 2040. It is a long 17 years and many things will happen in these years as well.

On July 23, 2023, Venus will retrograde and station closely conjunct Steven Avery’s Natal Venus and Uranus in the 11^th house. What a beautiful visit of a strong Venus reunion for him. His Natal Venus rules his life. He can be granted a wish fulfilled! Will it be his very own freedom, a sudden release from prison? Venus will continue to retrograde until it goes direct and conjunct quite closely to his Natal Rahu in the 10^th house of fame on September 4. He might be able to see daylight again! Towards the month of August 2023, a weird combination that has sort of happened before will once again happen. On Steven Avery’s 1^st Release in 2003, all the planets were empowering his Natal Venus in the 11^th house. Now in the months of July and August 2023, all the planets will once again empower his Natal Venus. Saturn will be in his lucky 5^th house strong in it’s own sign of Aquarius, opposing his Natal Venus. Both Rahu and Jupiter will conjunct together in his 7^th house and aspect his Natal Venus. Mars and the rest of the planets will all pop in and out of his 11^th house to touch on his Natal Venus. Moreover, whenever Ketu and Rahu is squaring his nodal axis of Natal Rahu and Ketu, something big always happen in Steven’s life. This is no exception that it is doing it again, in the months of July and August. July – September 2023 is granting Steven Avery a new lease of life again. By then, it will be another 18 years of wrongful conviction yet again just like the last time.

From Jaimini Astrology viewpoint, Steven Avery will be in his Libra/Capricorn period if his birth time is accurate. So far, everything has played out quite accurately based on his birth chart given.
